KRISTINE’S MUSINGS
Guided By the Heart
My musings speak for my heart. They speak for my past, present, future. They speak the words and feelings that are both mine and my clients; intertwining them into the oneness that we are through pleasure, pain, and expression. They come from a place deep within my body that my mind cannot touch. They come forward in an instance forcing me to pull my car over so that they may be written on the scrap of paper I find between the seats. They are unedited, unrehearsed, emotional and freeing. They have shown up throughout my life as moments of inspiration and as of today they are taking over as the truth of what is here for me, you, us. I invite you too to discover or build upon your own means of sharing what your heart most wants to say. Do It. Through writing, dancing, painting, running…whatever… just Do It. Begin to allow what lies deep within your being, that you may have only had glimpses of, to show up more intensely to guide your way!
Don’t cry over spilled (Milk) Tea
The tears got bigger
The weight of her despair grew
I took a deep breath
Looked down at the pool of tea
Sitting on the floor of my car
I’m Afraid to Tell Her
What if your fear
To speak from your heart
To tell her the truth
Is creating the very thing
You fear the most
Cherish The Moments
I try my best to keep things
In my house
As free from chemicals
As possible
It doesn’t always work out that way
The Power of Intention
Second grade was coming
He knew the teacher he wanted
He spoke about it all summer long
As if putting out a prayer
For what he wanted for himself
You Are Pure Possibility
As there are silent longings
From those moments lost
From those needs unmet
Which determine
More then we know
Writing From the Heart
Take a chance
Listen
To the whisper
Write
Whatever wants to be shared
Whose Rules Are They
Maybe it was a rule my mother
Had for me a long time ago
But for today
I found that it just didn’t work
For me, for my kid, or this moment
Encouragement Goes A Long Way
We need that connection in our lives
To remind us of our own greatness
By shining a light on where we have been
What we have accomplished
And the boundless possibilities that lay ahead
Women Finding Ourselves in One Another
What she wanted to share with me
Was her story, who she is
Her deepest desires
Her darkest secrets and more
The Pony I Dreamed Of – Sucked!
Ever dream
About having something
And when you get it
You’re gravely disappointed
Meet… Candyman
Becoming Someone Else
Something strange happened
I became
Confrontational
Manipulative
Mean
Quitting – Not Always Why You Think
When scored upon
He melted down HARD
Declaring his IMMENSE DISLIKE
For the game of soccer
